Feeder Cattle futures are traded every year in Jan, Mar, May, Apr, Sep, Nov. Which are all months in which live cattle is not traded. In feeder trading, a 1 cent move is equal to $500. Feeder Cattle decreased 32.60 USd/Lbs or 22.54% since the beginning of 2020, according to trading on a contract for difference (CFD) that tracks the benchmark market for this commodity. Historically, Feeder Cattle reached an all time high of 245.20 in October of 2014. This ratio over-hedges cash feeder cattle by 0.3% and under-hedges cash fed cattle and corn by 3.8% and 6.4%, respectively.
